Behaviour Support Assistant | Brixton | £85 – £100 PAYE | Full Time | Immediate Start

An ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED primary school located in Brixton seeks an experienced and motivated Behaviour Support Assistant to support a year 6 class with behaviour management. The school is committed to providing students with the tools they need to flourish and prepare for their next phase of education. Our partnered primary school has a great Senior Leadership Team, amazing teachers and teaching assistants who will make you feel welcome. This is an excellent opportunity to get into a role that is fulfilling as you will be a valued member of staff and a role model for the children in the class. The school is located in a vibrant location with great transportation links, and they are looking for a candidate to support the school for the rest of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with students to address challenging behaviour and implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individual behaviour plans.
  • Provide mentoring and support to students to help them build positive relationships.
  • Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback to Class Teacher

Requirements:

  • Recent Graduate
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and promote a supportive learning environment.
