Ortus Recruitment is working with an ‘Outstanding’ mainstream primary school located in West Green, London Borough of Haringey.

The school is looking to employ an experienced and capable Teaching Assistant to support KS2 in a general capacity, as well as support students with low attainment or SEN on a one-to-one basis. There are a small number of children in each class who are Autistic.

You will be assisting the teacher in the delivery of lessons as well as leading group interventions and engaging in lunchtime activities. There are after-school clubs to get involved in as well.

About this role:

• You will need to run group interventions
• Work one-on-one with pupils who may need additional help
• Help with literacy and numeracy
• Supervise children outside of class
• Assist the class teacher

Requirements:

• Must have a DBS
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL-TIME
• Must have 3-6 months experience
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent
