A well renowned school in Stanmore, London borough of Harrow are looking for a hardworking individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in one of their Year 5 classes. The individual needs to be resilient, enjoy helping others and wants to make a difference.

You will be helping children prepare for their upcoming SAT examinations through targeted interventions both on a 1:1 basis and also in small groups.

Year 5 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• 3-6 months classroom experience (KS2)
• Sen experience (desirable)
• Level 3 Teaching qualification
• Have strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Can work one-to-one and in small groups
• The ability to overcome difficult and challenging situations
• Provide 2 references
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• The right to work on the UK
