We are currently recruiting for a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join the team in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Year 4 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

– Assist the classroom teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
– Provide one-on-one or small group interventions to students who need additional support
– Support students with special education needs, including working with individuals on the autism spectrum
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
– Assist in monitoring student progress and documenting observations
– Provide mentoring and guidance to students as needed
– Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behaviour

Year 4 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

– Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
– Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
