The team at Ortus Recruitment are looking for a Early Years Assistant/Educator to prepare young children for their future by supporting in their emotional, social and academic development. You will play a key role in helping them develop their personalities and minds by exposing them to ideas and experiences that will help them gain a solid grounding in the world.

Early Years Assistant expectations:

• Prior experience working in a setting with children under the age of 5
• Ability to build positive rapports with staff members and children
• Can commit to working on a long-term and full-time basis (Mon – Fri, 8am – 3:30pm)
• Passion for supporting children of all backgrounds and abilities including SEN children
• Adept knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Ability to lead interventions e.g. phonics and reading
• Ability to implement effective behaviour management
