The schools we work with are Ofsted rated ‘Good‘ or ‘Outstanding‘, provide training and CPD courses to ensure career progression and offer consistent support and motivation. We are currently recruiting for a bright and proactive Teaching Assistant to support alongside the classroom teacher in a KS2 classroom.

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to manage behaviour effectively, lead numeracy and literacy interventions to raise attainment, support children with Special Educational Needs, liaise with parents/carers and supervise play/lunchtimes.

KS2 Teaching Assistant Expectations:

• Experience working with children
• Strong academic background
• Understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidently lead interventions e.g. numeracy/literacy/reading
• Have a can-do attitude
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive
• Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
