An Good primary school in Enfield is looking for an excellent and dedicated Graduate to join their inclusion team and work as an ASD Teaching Assistant starting immediately.

What you can expect as an ASD Teaching Assistant

You will be working 1:1 with a child in year 1 who has low functioning Austim and is working at a lower level than they should be at. You would be expected to keep an eye on the child and encourage them to participate in their work and be proactive.

ASD Teaching Assistant requirements

• ASD experience would be required
• Level 3 qualification or higher
• Ideally previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with autism or other special educational needs
• A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children’s learning needs.
• Ability to build rapport with the child
