- £80-£100 daily rate (PAYE – No umbrella fees)
- Ofsted rated ‘Good‘ primary school
- Located in London Borough of Barnet
- Potential to go perm after 20 working weeks
- Teacher training school
This is a fantastic opportunity be part the team in an Ofsted-rated ‘good‘ primary school in the London Borough of Barnet, a vibrant and diverse area with lovely cafes, parks and an abundance of transport links.
As a Learning Support Assistant you will work amongst pupils to promote a positive and safe learning environment, while also guiding and supporting them while they develop academically, emotionally and socially. This role requires being able to confidently lead literacy and numeracy interventions to ensure targets and potentials are being achieved.
You will also be expected to be a role model for pupils, help to create a positive learning environment and foster excellent behaviour. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment and make a real difference to the children’s learning. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people, a good understanding of the national curriculum and strong communication skills.
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have a good understanding of the curriculum
- Have experience working with SEN children
- Have experience working in a classroom environment
- Have the ability to communicate clearly + effectively
- Promote social, emotional and personal development
- Have experience working in a classroom setting
- Be patient, compassionate and enthusiastic
