We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Ealing.

About the role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with children amongst Year 4 to manage behaviour, lead interventions and provide additional support to academic, social and emotional development.

The children will have varying needs ranging from learning difficulties to challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related qualification
• Experience working with SEN – Autism, ADHD and SEMH
• Experience working in classroom setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
