Asa Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff members who will provide you with invaluable guidance and direction. This role offers excellent paid experience, equipping you with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue further qualifications in teaching, educational psychology, child psychology, or other related specialisms. By the end of the academic year, you’ll be well-prepared to embark upon a teacher-training qualification or delve into various educational pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a professional team to organize and support teaching and learning activities for pupils.
• Provide specialized learning support for pupils across various learning environments and scenarios.
• Plan, organize, and execute additional duties to support the holistic development of identified pupils.
• Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Additional Information:

• The role may be extended to a second year for the right applicant.

Requirements:

• All successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and online social media screening.
• Two satisfactory references, barred list check (for regulated activity roles), Section 128 check (where applicable), overseas criminal records check (if required), identity verification, right to work in the UK, evidence of relevant qualifications, and confirmation of registration with applicable professional bodies.
