Primary Teaching Assistant – Learning Difficulties
We have a very exciting Primary Teaching Assistant role opportunity that would suit anyone that is passionate about working in education. If you are also interested in supporting SEN children, mainly those with Autism, Speech and Language needs then this role will be well suited to you.
The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 with a child with learning difficulties in a Year 4 class. The senior leadership at the school are supporting and friendly, and have worked to build a welcoming atmosphere where learner and staff feel enabled to grow and develop.
If you are an enthusiastic and motivated person and have experience in childcare who is also interested in working with SEN children in a highly rated OFSTED school with friendly and respectful staff then this job might be for you. Location: Dulwich
Pay: £85.00 – £100.00
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:30
Duties include:
- Supporting the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.
- Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
- Managing behaviour and engaging students with their own learning.
- Working with students either one to one or in small groups out of the classroom.
- Committed to support both the teacher and the students to succeed.
