In this fulfilling Unqualified Learning Difficulties Support Teaching Assistant role, you’ll have the opportunity to work across different classes based on the school’s needs, spanning various key stages. You’ll be surrounded by wonderful teaching resources as you work closely with students, gently monitoring their progress and providing support along their educational journey.
This role is for someone that wants to achieve their potential and further strive their career in teaching/education. In this role you will be require to work with children of all primary school ages. This role will be suited to someone who is caring, kind and wants to really make a difference in helping children with special needs/learning difficulties.
The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 with an Autistic child in a Year 3 class. The senior leadership at the school are supporting and friendly, and have worked to build a welcoming atmosphere where learner and staff feel enabled to grow and develop. The schools stretch their most able and support those with special and additional needs – they want to ensure that all have the opportunities they need to fulfil their potential and the Special Needs TA hired for this role will become part of this community.

Duties include:
- Supporting the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.
- Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
- Managing behaviour and engaging students with their own learning.
- Working with students either one to one or in small groups out of the classroom.
- Committed to support both the teacher and the students to succeed.
