A reputable primary school based in Brixton is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and committed Key Stage 1 teacher to join their Year 2 class in April and stay with the school for the remainder of the academic year. The successful candidate may be offered a permanent contract after the academic year, but the school will make their decision based on your performance with the class and the development of the pupils in the year 2 class.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or recent graduate in education PGCE with QTS
• Fully Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willing to apply)

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary school students
• Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of the students
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development
