We work with a number of schools, all rated ‘Good‘ or ‘Outstanding‘ by Ofsted, with supportive senior leadership teams and opportunities for further career progression.
We are currently looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support amongst nursery and reception classes in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience within the Early Years sector and good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Details about Early Years Role:
- Mon-Fri, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- No weekends
- Term time, Long-term, Full-time
- £425-£525 per week (PAYE)
- Potential to be placed on teacher training programme

Responsibilities of Early Years Teaching Assistant:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Encourage learning through play
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Observe and assess children’s development and progress
- Collaborate with other educators to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, progress, and incidents
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns
Skill Requirements for Early Years Teaching Assistant:
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Level 3 CACHE qualified
- Adept understanding of EYFS framework
- Behaviour management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards young children
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of children and the program
