Our client school in Brent is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 3. This is an inclusive and diverse primary school located in Wembley, Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience as a behaviour mentor, sport coach, youth worker, special educational needs assistant and/or learning support assistant.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide support and guidance to a boy in Year 3 who is exhibiting challenging behaviour. They require someone who can have a firm but fair approach, build a positive relationship with the child and put the correct strategies in place to manage his behaviour.
Requirements for the role:
- Ability to set boundaries
- Ability to establish trust and respect
- Firm but fair approach
- Behaviour management experience
- SEN experience
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative
- Good communication skills
Details about the role:
- Mon-Fri, 8:25am – 3:45pm
- No weekends
- Term time
- Full time & Long-term
- £400-£500 per week (PAYE)
- Potential to be placed on teacher training programme
- Generous referral scheme
- Continuous support/advice from specialist consultants
