We are actively seeking a qualified Learning Support Assistant with primary school experience to join our team. In this role, you will apply your knowledge and skills to provide valuable support to a child who has autism in the KS2 general class.
Your responsibilities will include effectively managing behavior, facilitating social and emotional development, and fostering positive relationships with both students and staff. The ideal candidate should possess confidence in handling diverse learning needs and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment for all.
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEN children
- Knowledge of SEN principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of all abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage challenging behaviours
