We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for an Autistic child within a Year 3 class. Our school’s senior leadership is known for its supportive and approachable nature, fostering a welcoming environment conducive to both student and staff growth. We believe in challenging our most capable students while providing extensive support for those with special educational needs, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will join our vibrant community and play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to children
- Assist the class teacher as required
- Offer support to the entire class when necessary
- Supervise and care for children during break times
- Manage challenging behaviours effectively
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents
