Year 3 Teaching Assistant | Tooting | £85 – £100 PAYE | Full Time | April Start (After Easter Holiday)

Ortus recruitment are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work at a fantastic Primary school based in Tooting, Wandsworth Borough to support a welcoming Year 3 class.

The successful Year 3 Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working alongside the classroom teacher to manage behaviour, supervise playtime, promote learning through play, keep the classroom organised and build positive rapports with the children and staff. As well as this, you will need to effectively lead reading and maths interventions and work 1:1 with children with various Special Educational Needs if required.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm)**

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a dynamic and patient approach to teaching
• Encourage and engage children with KS1/ KS2 curriculum
• Have the ability to work in a team but also take initiative when needed
• Have excellent time management and attendance
• Be Experienced working in KS1/KS2
• Hold a minimum 2:2 degree or Level 3 qualification
• Have a can-do attitude and passion for education
