Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that help students consolidate their learning and prepare for end-of-year assessments

• Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to students who require additional assistance with their learning or require additional challenge

• Assist in the planning and organization of transition activities and events to ensure a smooth transition for students to secondary school

• Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, providing regular feedback on student progress and achievements

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with upper primary students, ideally in a Year 6 classroom or similar educational setting

• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting student learning, with the ability to tailor support to meet the individual needs of students

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage positively with students and families
