We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of our students. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-on-one support to students, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
- Provide individualized support to students with varying needs
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Prepare classroom materials and resources
- Assist with the assessment and tracking of student progress
- Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and other activities
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required
Desirable:
- Experience working with children with SEN
- First Aid certification
- Additional training or qualifications in child development or education
