Role Details
- Position: Primary Teaching Assistant
- Focus: 1:1 support for an Autistic child in a Year 3 class
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Pay: £85 – £100 per day, PAYE with no hidden agency or umbrella company fees
Key Responsibilities
- 1:1 Support: Provide dedicated support to an Autistic child in Year 3.
- Assist the Teacher: Help the class teacher with various tasks.
- Whole Class Support: Support the entire class when needed.
- Break Time Care: Look after children during break times.
- Behaviour Management: Manage challenging behaviour effectively.
- Parent Engagement: Foster and maintain relationships with parents.

Essential Skills and Attributes
- Passion for SEN Support: Genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
- Experience with Autism/ADHD: Prior experience working with children with Autism or ADHD.
- Enthusiasm for Education: Natural enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Progress Monitoring: Ability to track and record a child’s progress.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of child safeguarding practices.
- Positive Attitude: Energetic, caring, and can-do mindset.
