Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning and development, ensuring every child receives the individual attention they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
• Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of students during class activities, breaks, and field trips.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a tidy, organized learning space.
• Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3).
• Experience working with children with SEND.
• First Aid certification.
