Ortus Recruitment are seeking talented, driven and passionate individuals to provide teachers and the SEN team support as a Learning Support Assistant. The individual will be supporting children’s learning, social and welfare needs. You will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils. You will also assist the class teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

This role at our partnered school requires the successful candidate to demonstrate empathy and kindness alongside initiative and the ability to work autonomously where needed. It is important to be a role model for the pupils in the class and the school as a whole. You will join a team who are supportive, successful and committed to setting high standards.

Requirements:

• Recent Graduate with a strong academic background.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience supporting SEN
• Passionate about pursuing a career in education.
• Proactive, reliable, and committed.
• Confident across the primary curriculum, with the ability to assist learning in any subject area.
