Employment Type: Full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Salary: £425 – £25 PAYE (No umbrella) per week. Depending on experience

Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking graduates with degrees in Performing Arts, Drama, or Psychology to join an outstanding Primary School as a Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for innovative individuals who can bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a supportive presence to the classroom.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include leading group interventions, providing whole class support, and offering one-on-one assistance to children who need extra help in specific areas. This position is particularly suitable for those aspiring to become teachers in the future.

Many staff members at this school have Performing Arts backgrounds, creating a lively, engaging learning environment. A passion for supporting children is essential. While experience with children is required, it doesn’t need to be school-based and can include drama workshops, dance classes, theatre productions, or relevant psychology experience.

Requirements:

• Performing Arts Graduate or relevant degree
• Confident and capable across the Primary curriculum
• Strong written and spoken communicator
• Proactive & Reliable

• Comfortable working with SEN Children
