Our lively partnered mainstream primary school based in Clapham Junction is seeking a passionate and energetic Teaching Assistant to join for September 2024. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the class teacher to enhance children’s educational experiences, both within the classroom setting and in extracurricular activities. Previous experience in early childhood education is an advantage.

Requirements:

• Recent Graduate
• Teaching Assistant certification or relevant qualifications (desirable).
• Prior experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Experience in early years education is an advantage.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Support children’s learning and development through individual and group activities.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
• Monitor and report on students’ progress and behaviour to the class teacher.
