Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education and to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide individual and small group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, break times, and transitions.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they are fully included in all school activities.
- Assist with classroom management and organizational tasks.
- Prepare and manage classroom resources and materials.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their education and well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
- Basic knowledge of child development and educational best practices.
