Ortus Recruitment is seeking a talented and dedicated Graduate Classroom Assistant to work with our partnered primary school situated in Wandsworth. The school is an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated school with an excellent team, and as a key member of our staff, you will provide individual and small group support to pupils with learning difficulties in KS2.

The successful candidate will have:

• A relevant teaching assistant qualification
• Strong experience working with children with learning difficulties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a primary school setting or if you’ve worked with children in other professional environments

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis to support their learning and development
• Supporting the teacher in the delivery of lesson plans and preparing materials
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
