Primary Teaching Assistant – Full Time – September Start

This fulfilling Primary Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to work across various classes and key stages based on the school’s needs. You’ll have access to excellent teaching resources as you closely monitor students’ progress and provide essential support on their educational journey.
Role Focus:
- SEN Support: Work 1:1 with an Autistic child in a Year 3 class
- Inclusive Environment: Join a supportive and friendly senior leadership team
- School Atmosphere: Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere where both learners and staff can grow and develop
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for children
- Assist the class teacher with daily tasks
- Support the entire class as needed
- Care for and supervise children during break times
- Manage challenging behaviour
- Foster strong relationships with parents
Essential Skills:
- Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Experience working with children with Autism/ADHD
- Natural enthusiasm for working with young children
- Ability to monitor and record a child’s progress
- Understanding of safeguarding children
- Positive, caring, energetic, can-do attitude
