We are urgently seeking an experienced 1:1 ADHD Support Worker to join one of our rewarding Pupil Referral Units, located in the London Borough of Southwark, Peckham. The Job Role:

• Position: 1:1 ADHD Support Worker
• Pay: £90 – £100 per day, PAYE – No hidden agency/umbrella company fees
• Location: Southwark, Peckham
• Role: Full time, Long term

The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience managing challenging behaviour or experience working alongside SEN Learners. We are seeking someone who has school based experience working 1:1 or in small groups, someone who is patient and resilient. In order to thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will need to be passionate about working alongside children, and dedicated to helping them develop a range of skills including social, emotional and mental skills.

Within this role, the successful candidate will be required to work in a Pupil Referral Unit supporting a child in year 7 who has ADHD. You will be tasked with assisting the Class Teacher in helping the pupil to maintain concentration in lesson and have a positive attitude to learning. You will use enrichment and sensory activities in order to engage the child in learning. You will be required to liaise with the Class Teacher, SENCO and the parents/carers in order to ensure the learner is getting the necessary support.
