The role:

As a 1:1 ASC Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for helping a student feel supported and comfortable in the classroom environment. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging learning activities and support the student in their individual learning needs. You will also be required to monitor the student’s progress and provide feedback to the teacher.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with children with autism and knowledge of their unique needs. You should be patient, understanding, and have excellent communication skills. You should also have an understanding of the different learning strategies used for students with autism.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A dynamic and motivating approach to teaching

• Excellent time management and attendance
• Experience working with SEN children
• Experience working in a classroom setting
• Minimum 2:2 degree or Level 3 qualification
