1:1 Classroom Assistant | Waterloo, Lambeth | Full-time | January Start

Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a mainstream primary school in Waterloo, who are seeking for an experienced and passionate Classroom Assistant to join their team immediately. The primary school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report and have very supportive senior staff; now they are seeking for a classroom assistant to support pupil with SEN long-term.

The ideal candidate will:

• Degrees in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama and Performing Arts are ideal, but we welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children
• Have experience working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work | Mentoring | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and be a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion for supporting young vulnerable pupil
• Be available full-time (Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm)
