Ortus Recruitment is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants in the London Borough of Enfield (EN3).

Although experience working with a variety of needs is preferred, what’s essential is that you have a passion and enthusiasm for going above and beyond for children of all needs. This is a full-time and long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate after 2 terms.

This role is Monday – Friday 8:15 – 15:45 – with no weekends!

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:

• Have experience working with children with SEN on 1:1 basis or in classes (Autism experience is a must)
• Be passionate about working with SEN children
• Be flexible, proactive and patient
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team
• Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum (preferred)
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines (required)
• Be committed to work full-time
