This mainstream, inclusive Primary School is looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, who is proactive, resilient and dedicated to supporting children with additional needs and challenging behaviour.

The school is situated in the vibrant London borough of Barnet surrounded by shops, restaurants and transportation links within walking distance of the school to ensure easy accessibility from door-to-door.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ability to take initiative, be enthusiastic and resilient
• Work alongside class teachers to manage classroom behaviour, keep classrooms organised and liaise with parents/carers
• Lead numeracy, phonics and literacy interventions in small groups to raise low attainment levels
• Work on a 1:1 basis with 2 children with additional needs – in the morning supporting a non-verbal child with ASD and in the afternoon supporting a child with ASD and challenging behaviour.
