Are you passionate about working with SEN Learners? We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced member of staff to work 1:1 with a SEN Learner (ASD) in a primary school in Lewisham.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**

The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications and/or have experience working alongside SEN learners. You will need to be patient, empathetic and an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with the pupil and their family

The role will consist of working closely with the 1:1 learner inside and outside of the classroom. Helping the class teacher differentiate work to match the needs of the learner. Assisting the learner with classwork and communicating effectively with classmates. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in a 1:1 room with the learner and supervising the learner in the playground and in the lunch hall to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A dynamic and motivated approach to teaching
• Experience working with/alongside SEN learners
• A basic/good understanding of ASD
• Excellent time management and attendance
• Experience working 1:1 with a pupil
• The ability to work well within a team
