Ortus Recruitment is currently working with a mainstream primary school based in Streatham, who seek for experienced 1:1 teaching assistants to join their team immediately. The role first half of the school day will involve working with a girl in a year 1 class with mild autism who displays challenging behaviour, the second half of the day will be working with a girl in year 4 class with similar conditions. Our partnered primary school is an ’Outstanding’ Ofsted rated school, who cater for children from 3 – 11 years old and they need you to help maintain high standards of education. This is a perfect opportunity for you if you are looking to work in the field of education supporting vulnerable students prior to teacher training or if you have previous experience and you are looking for a change of environment.

Requirements:

• Recent Graduate with a 2:1 or above.
• Experience working in a Primary School or supporting children in a professional environment
• Confident and capable across the primary curriculum.
• Proactive, reliable, and flexible.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full Time Availably (Mon – Fri, 08:30 – 16:00)
