We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a primary school in Merton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to make a real difference in students’ lives and gain valuable experience in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
• Working with small groups or one-to-one to assist children’s learning.
• Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
• Supervising students during activities such as lunch, break times, and school trips.
• Encouraging positive behavior and supporting students’ emotional and social development.

Key Requirements:

• A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Experience in a similar role or working with children (desirable but not essential).
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with young people.
• A willingness to assist children with diverse learning needs.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions from the teacher.
