Ortus Recruitment is working with a partnered mainstream primary school in Tooting to recruit two After School Care Workers. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dedicated team that provides wrap-around care for pupils, ensuring their well-being and offering enriching activities in a diverse, multicultural school environment.

Key Details:

• Location: Tooting
• Role: After School Care Worker x2
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 15 hours per week, 3pm – 6pm
• Contract: Term-Time Only (38 weeks per year)
• Salary: £10,834 – £10,990 per annum (Grade 3, Point 5-6)

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and coordinate a variety of activities that provide formal and informal learning opportunities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during after-school care.
• Prepare and serve meals, while also supporting children with their personal needs.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils and their families, promoting a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
• Show initiative in resolving any situations that may arise, working alongside the wider school team to maintain a safe, fun, and caring environment.
• Comply with the school’s policies, including food hygiene and allergen safety (training will be provided).
