Do you have experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with ASD, helping them access learning in a structured and engaging way.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one support for a Year 3 child with ASD.
• Implement sensory strategies and structured routines to aid engagement.
• Use visual aids, PECS, and Makaton to support communication.
• Encourage social interaction and confidence in a classroom setting.
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external specialists.

About You:

• Experience working with children with ASD is highly desirable.
• Understanding of sensory processing needs and behaviour strategies.
• A patient, calm, and proactive approach to SEN support.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
