ASC Teaching Assistant – Crystal Palace

Ortus Recruitment are working alongside a Primary School in Crystal Palace, who are looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ASC.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as an ASC Teaching Assistant within a large, inclusive partner primary school in Crystal Palace. As an ASC Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring children with Autism Spectrum Condition develop key skills and achieve their personal and educational goals. This is a fulfilling role in which you’ll make a significant positive difference to the lives of students with ASC, working as a member of a dedicated and supportive staff team.

ASC Teaching Assistant | Job Summary

• Your role as an ASC Teaching Assistant will involve working on a 1:1 and classroom basis to encourage and guide student’s learning.
• You’ll develop a strong understanding of the unique needs of individual pupils, tailoring your support accordingly.
• Monitor and record the progress students make under your supervision.
• Work alongside other staff members to ensure student’s wellbeing and success.
