We are seeking dedicated individuals to join a mainstream primary school located in the Wandsworth Borough, catering to pupils and students from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2. Our partnered primary school is particularly seeking a candidate with experience supporting pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for an immediate start. As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with varying abilities on the ASD spectrum, including those with additional complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with their physical, emotional, and academic needs in a supportive and inclusive manner.
- Facilitate access to the curriculum by implementing personalized learning strategies and interventions.
- Support individual learners in both classroom and one-on-one settings, as well as small group activities throughout the day.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
- Utilize visual aids such as now-and-next boards and picture cards to support ASD students during transitional periods and daily routines.
Additional Information:
- Full-time
- Working hours are from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other special educational needs is desirable.

- Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
