Are you a Teaching Assistant committed to improving the lives of young people?

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for Behaviour Mentors to join our partnered primary school based in Streatham, London.

About the role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support teachers to take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximising pupils’ achievement, and ability to develop.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor seeking to further their career in Education, motivated by a passion for inspiring pupils with diverse and complex needs. The role is both challenging and highly rewarding, within a school that prioritizes safeguarding, ensuring that pupils are heard, respected, and involved in key decisions affecting them.

We pride ourselves on delivering quality education, and we are seeking a Behaviour Mentor who can provide individualized and small-group support, assist in preparing classrooms and materials, and foster positive relationships with pupils to enhance engagement and learning. Our Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in supporting teachers and may assist in planning and delivering lessons in a creative and supportive environment.

While prior experience in an SEN or ASC setting is beneficial, we value excellent support skills, the right mindset, personal qualities, and resilience just as highly. We are looking for individuals who align with our vision of empowering vulnerable young people across the UK to lead happy and fulfilling lives.

With GCSE qualifications (grade C or above) in Maths and English, you will need to be calm, engaging, resilient, and a collaborative team player. Above all, you should be driven by a genuine desire to help every pupil achieve their potential.

Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate (£85 – £100 PAYE based on role/experience), with no hidden fees. (No Umbrella Companies)
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Clear pathways for career progression. (Temporary to Permanent Contracts)
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Holiday work partnership for additional earning opportunities.
  • £100 referral bonus for successful candidate referrals.
