Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one learning support for a child with behavioural challenges.
• Apply your understanding of behaviour theory to foster positive change.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and fellow professionals.

Role Overview:

• Supporting a child with SEN, behavioural challenges, and SEMH needs.
• Applying de-escalation techniques and managing challenging behaviour.
• An understanding of social, emotional, and mental health concerns is crucial.
• You must be patient, resilient, and maintain a firm but fair approach.
• Consistency in enforcing boundaries is essential.
• You will collaborate with another Learning Support Assistant.
• Prior experience in managing severe behavioural needs and working with SEN children is highly beneficial.
