Position: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Wood Green, London Borough of Haringey
Schedule: Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM)
Salary: £425 – £525 per week (PAYE, NO Umbrella Deductions) Depending on experience

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor with a strong interest in sports to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Wood Green, Haringey. In this rewarding role, you will work one-on-one with a child who has SEMH needs, supporting their emotional and social development.

With opportunities to incorporate physical activity and sports into your approach, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys an active, hands-on environment. You will also work with children on the autism spectrum, offering a truly fulfilling experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-to-one with a child with SEMH needs to build emotional resilience and social skills
• Use your sports background to engage and motivate children in activities
• Support the child in accessing the curriculum in a mainstream setting

Requirements:

• A passion for working with children, especially those with additional needs
• A sports background (coaching or participation) is preferred
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn – full training will be provided
• A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
