Behaviour Mentor
Location: Ealing, London
Salary: £80-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant school in Ealing. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students displaying challenging behaviours, offering 1:1 or small group support.
- Implement strategies to help manage behaviour and encourage positive social interactions.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and senior staff to develop individual behaviour plans.
- Promote a calm and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and emotional support to students.
- Help students improve self-regulation and coping skills through targeted interventions.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour, preferably within a school setting.
- A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Desirable:
- Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other associated needs.
- A background in education, youth work, or social work.
- Relevant qualifications in behaviour management or education.
