Behaviour Mentor
Are you a patient and proactive individual with a passion for supporting children with challenging behaviour? Our partnered mainstream primary school in Putney is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil who requires tailored behavioural and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted behaviour interventions to the child in both classroom and 1:1 settings.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop strategies that enhance learning.
- Build a positive rapport with the child to create a safe and nurturing environment.
- Track progress and report to teachers and parents, offering suggestions for further improvements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Ability to stay calm in challenging situations and maintain a positive approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
