- Support the child in developing their social and emotional skills in both structured and unstructured settings
- Work independently in community spaces, such as libraries, to provide learning opportunities outside the traditional classroom environment
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that encourages the child’s academic and emotional growth
Desired Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, ideally within a primary school setting
- Experience in youth work, community support, or related fields
- Familiarity with key skills interventions (Level 1 & 2)
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a supportive team
- Experience in behaviour and anger management, self-confidence development, and other therapeutic interventions

- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
