Behaviour Mentor
A well-established school in Putney is looking for a compassionate and motivated Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This important role will involve supporting students with Challenging Behaviour and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to help them succeed academically and emotionally. The successful candidate will primarily work with students in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), offering guidance and support both inside and outside the classroom to improve their well-being and learning outcomes.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with children, especially those who may face additional challenges. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire and guide students, helping them develop essential skills to thrive. Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is a plus but not essential. However, applicants with any of the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:
- SEN experience, particularly with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Behaviour management or experience with challenging behaviour
- Previous work in learning support or SEMH settings
- Background in sport coaching, youth work, or similar areas
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a related field

- Willingness to participate in interviews and trial sessions for long-term placements
