Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Mentor who is seeking a long-term role in a primary school from January 2026?

A fantastic mainstream primary school based in Wandsworth is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support a KS2 class from January 2026. Our partnered school has a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and is based in a great location with excellent transport links. The staff at the school are extremely welcoming and will provide you with all the tools you need to thrive in the role. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates looking to gain invaluable experience in a primary school setting.

Requirements:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a PRU or similar setting (desirable, not essential)
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school (desirable, not essential)
  • Previous experience and a genuine passion for supporting children with behavioural needs
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
