Ortus Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our partnered specialist school based in the Lambeth Borough. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who may be struggling with behaviour issues, providing guidance and support to help them succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized behaviour plans for students based on their unique needs and strengths
• Monitor and document student progress and behaviour, and use data to inform instruction and support
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students, including mentoring, coaching and counselling

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or a related field
• Proven experience working with students with behaviour issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Patience, understanding, and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional qualifications in behavior management or counseling is preferred
