Are you an experienced and dedicated Learning Mentor looking to make a positive impact in the education of primary school students? Ortus Recruitment is currently working closely with a highly respected Mainstream Primary School in the Hounslow LEA, who is seeking an experienced Learning Mentor to join their team on a full-time basis with an immediate start. As a Learning Mentor with a behavior specialism, you will play a crucial role in providing 1:1 specialist support to pupils in Year3 who need help overcoming barriers to learning, where behavior and attendance issues are a cause for concern. You will report to the school’s SENCO/Inclusion Lead and provide detailed daily feedback and learning progress reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree education
• Availability to commit to a full-time, long-term position
• Experience inspiring and motivating pupils who display challenging behavior
• Experience with primary aged children
• Clear spoken and written communication skills
• Proactive, reliable, and flexible attitude
